Tourism is on the rise in Cyprus and especially in the province of Famagusta with the creation of 2000 new beds, which prescribe a successful course for tourist traffic.
According to a report in the newspaper "Politis", the tourist season began with the best omen for the popular tourist resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras.
In statements given to the newspaper, the director of the local tourism development and promotion company, Lakis Avramidis, expressed satisfaction and optimism for the successful course of tourism, especially due to the addition of 2000 new beds, which will further increase the tourist traffic in the area.
At the same time, bookings from Russia, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Israel and the United Kingdom increased.
Finally, the bet of the tour operators of the Famagusta District is the extension of the tourist season until next November.
