The District Committees of AKEL Famagusta and the Turkish Cypriot Republican Party (CTP) Famagusta, in the framework of their joint activities, are co-organizing a bi-communal tree planting which will take place in two phases.
The first phase of tree planting will take place next Saturday, April 22, in Engomi, Famagusta and the second the following Saturday, April 29, in Deryneia.
Both events will start at 11:00 am.
The two parties, continuing their long-term cooperation, are organizing these symbolic tree plantings with the aim of sending the message of peace, cooperation and the continuation of the struggle for a united, federal and prosperous Cyprus for all its inhabitants.
The events of AKEL and CTP are part of the two-month bi-communal culture festival, which is co-organized by a number of organizations and groups after the initiative of the Offices of Culture and Re-approximation of the CoE. of AKEL, which is entitled "With bridges the roots, a path to the future."
