More specifically, on Monday morning, the cleaning service of the Municipality of Lemnos sounded the alarm, after a phone call from a frightened professional that he threw three bags full of euros, thinking they were rubbish, in the trash cans opposite his shop.
Immediately, they started looking for the garbage trucks of the Municipality, some of which were on a regular route, others were headed to the landfill.
After a search and with the agony of hitting red, the "moving treasury" was found, broadcasts limnosreport.gr, which was notified to head to the port of Agios Nikolaos. There they emptied the bin in the open and the money was found intact.
