bar letter, returned money, bar

The customer of a bar who had visited it 10 to 11 years ago, after drinking his drinks, gave him the money he was asked for and left.

However, the bartender then made a mistake which after the client remembered it, he hurried with an incredible move to correct it.

With a letter in which there was also the amount of 40 euros, the customer hurried to return the money that did not belong to him.

The letter published by zarpanews.gr states: “My name is Aristotle, we do not know each other. Some years ago, 10 or 11 maybe, even though I was in a pretty difficult financial situation I chose to go out with a girl and we came to your store.

After we drank cocktails I asked for the bill. The cost for what we had got was 60 euros, I had exactly 60 euros, a 50 euro banknote and a 10 euro one. I gave them to the Bartender and he obviously confused the 10 euro banknote with the 50 euro one and gave me a 40 euro change. I, I got them ".

So humbly and with respect I ask you to accept these 40 euros "".

This act of Aristotle was received with great joy and enthusiasm by the management of the bar and the co-owner Marina Manolaraki, who announced it on social media, expressed her surprise, her joy, but mainly as she says, the rejuvenation of hope, which nowadays it tends to be completely lost.
