The actor and dancer spoke openly about his personal life and confessed that he is gay, something that his family knows and has accepted.
"I'm Jason Mandilas and gay, I have learned all these years to hide a little, to take part in actions, but not to actually tell my truth. I want to apologize, many times I have lied because I have often found myself in a difficult position by answering questions such as "What do you like about a girl", "how do you flirt with a girl". It was always difficult for me to give answers. I'm in a relationship with a man and I'm happy. I hid my homosexuality because we have learned not to talk about these issues, but there is no right time.
My mom and dad had a conversation when I was little with my sister and they talked to us about homosexuality, so from an early age I realized that there is ground and talk to my family. I have always known that.
When I had my first relationship with a boy my mom realized it first. Now my parents know my current relationship, we all go out for dinner together and we are loved. It is difficult in general when you are scared and especially when you are a small child because I have been such a child who has accepted bad behaviors. I have had a child who was bullied and insulted, it happened until the third year of high school.
