-What was your first reaction when you found out about your sister's beating complaint?
I was shocked! Even though I had seen her in the past with a black eye and wearing dark glasses whenever she came alone to our holiday home in Lavrio. She never wears glasses, and when I ask her why she wears them, she tells me that they are from the night before and that the sun bothers her. As long as she was with Themis, she was not the Varvara I know. She was always nervous, like scared.
-In what condition is Varvara now?
Her body is full of bruises. He talked to our mother and told her that he still loves him and doesn't want to hurt him. By her words I believe she has forgiven him. I respect her point of view that she doesn't want money from Themis, but she needs to get away from him.
-You had met the singer. How did he appear to you as a person?
Yes, of course they used to come together to Lavrio and I had also been to the shop where he sang. Twice he was in a hurry – he wanted to go to a studio. When I saw them they both seemed nervous.
- The singer's lawyer maintains that Themis Adamantidis was not in the disputed video. What do you answer to that?
It was Varvara, because I know my sister, it was Themis, because that was the car. Kougias is lying! And Themis, who says they were divorced, is not true! A few days ago they had come together to my house. Mr. Kougias should learn to say things as they are and not to defend people who are not correct!
-Also, Alexis Kougias mentioned that Varvara was taking money from him. Do you think he could do such a thing?
In no case! We are a poor family, but honest and with values and principles. Barbara has her own money. Many times she gave her car to the singer, and even under his house my sister's car was broken into two or three times, because they saw that Themis was driving it. In the morning she would get up, go to get her car and see it broken into. Barbara would never have a relationship for either the money or the glory. She is a deeply emotional person and works only with her heart.
