A large operation of the Tzermiades fire service is underway in the Lassithi Plateau for the release of a 56-year-old farmer who was at his sheepfold in Kaminaki of the Lassithi Plateau and fell dead in front of his son. The 56-year-old probably suffered a heart attack and left his last breath in his flock.
At 9.30 in the morning, the 56-year-old son notified the authorities that his father had lost consciousness while he was going to feed his animals. A fire brigade from Tzermiades approached the herd station with two vehicles and 5 employees, which is located in an inaccessible area. Firefighters, in fact, had to cover a long distance on foot.
At the moment, machines are rushing to the spot in order to open the road and for an ambulance of EKAB to go to the spot in order to pick up the body of the unfortunate 56-year-old.
