The Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania Kosmas fell asleep after the great battle he fought with the coronavirus. Metropolitan Kosmas was admitted to the hospital of Agrinio on December 1, when his health condition was already very serious.

His Eminence the Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania Mr. Kosmas Papachristos, was born in Skoutesiada, Agrinio in 1945. He studied Political Science at the Panteion University of Athens and Theology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received both degrees.
