A tragedy occurred in the early hours of Monday in Astromeritis, when a man was pulled out dead after a fire.
According to the Police, around 05:45 information was received about a fire in a company premises.
The fire was extinguished by the owner using a fire extinguisher before the arrival of the Fire Brigade and the Police.
A dead employee of the company, originally from Romania, was found inside the premises. The Police and the Fire Brigade are investigating the causes of the fire which seems to have started from the kitchen of the premises.
The exact causes of death of the unfortunate man will be ascertained by performing the legalized autopsy.
