A shock news was revealed by dikisports.blogspot.com as it reports that there is a positive sample of a Greek football player who was on the team for the away match against Georgia.

Since this is the first sample, the name cannot be known, which will happen if the second sample is tested and if it is found to be positive.

Note that the test was not allegedly carried out by an EOCAN sampling crew (it could have been called by UEFA to test the team's training sessions), however by the time these lines were written the Hellenic Football Federation had not reached no official information about a positive sample in a Greek international football player.

And this is a bit of an oxymoron as in such cases as soon as a positive sample is detected in the laboratory that undertakes the control, the International Sports Federation, WADA, the domestic federation and the athlete himself are informed almost simultaneously.

We must also make it clear that in case the positive sample is confirmed (upon completion of the control and the second sample) the National football team is not at risk of any sanction, unlike the football player.
