Fthiotida is in mourning in Greece after the death of a child from a coronavirus.
This is a 14-year-old disabled boy, from the area of Eastern Fthiotida, who became seriously ill from covid-19 and ended up at the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital.
The little one was taken to the Emergency Department of Lamia Hospital on Tuesday morning around 11 in the morning, together with his parents who are unvaccinated and also infected with the virus.
He was found to be seriously ill and had been admitted to the Children's Hospital the same afternoon.
Unfortunately, his body could not stand it and ended up drowning his family and the whole of Fthiotida in mourning.
