"Electric shock" from the EAC accounts

Another 12,5% increase for the hot, due to air conditioners, two months August - September the fuel cost based on which each kilowatt hour we consume is charged to the EAC bills, to the extent that anyone can predict that the next bills will be the most hot of the last three years. Last two months the fuel cost was € 394 per metric ton and in the current two months € 460,37.

It is characteristic that compared to € 460,37 per metric ton of the current two months, in the same two months of last year we paid electricity bills with a fuel cost of € 318,20, ie in one year there was an increase of up to 45%.

As a result, the base price of each kilowatt-hour we consume will be charged with this two months by 4 cents plus additional increases due to VAT and other charges calculated as a percentage.

The basic price per kilowatt hour is 13,11 cents (9,23 cents energy cost plus 3,21 cents network cost plus 0,67 cents the cost of ancillary services). With the addition of 4 cents, the net cost per kilowatt hour now amounts to 17,11 cents.
To this amount we must add fixed charges - such as metering costs, etc. - but also additional increases due to VAT and other charges, such as the fee for RES, the fee for Utilities, etc. .λ. calculated as a percentage.

The continuous high temperatures and the increases of the last two months, given the widespread use of air conditioners, brought discomfort together with the bills received by the households in the last days, while the bills for commercial enterprises and handicrafts are particularly hot, which also pay the significantly increased summer season rates.
