How the contribution rates are formed in GESY after the decision of non-payment

Following the decision not to pay the additional contribution to the GESS for a period of three months in view of the Financial Support Program for dealing with the financial effects of the coronavirus, the Ministry of Finance announced what will apply for the coming months.

In the announcement, the Ministry of Finance notes, following the vote by the House of Representatives on 27/3/2020 of the Financial Support Program in the context of dealing with the financial impact of the coronavirus and in particular the decision not to pay the increased contribution to GESY for a period of three months, the Ministry of Finance wishes to inform all those affected that the rates of contributions to the GESS are as follows:

If companies / employers have applied the reduced rates during the month of March 2020, then only for these cases, the period of application of the reduced rates is set from March 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020. It is understood that in cases that have not been applied reduced rates in March 2020, then the period of application of the reduced rates is set from 1 April to 30 June.
