Larnaca: With the testimony of the medical examiner Sophocles Sophocles, the trial for the quadruple murder in Ayia Napa on June 23, 2016 continued today.

Mr. Sophocles had dealt with the autopsies performed on Jani Vogli and the Utensils of Hadjiefthymiou, as well as the examination of the wounds of George Charalambous, the MMAD police officer who was at the scene.

Asked about Vogli's case, he said he received a bullet to the right in the lower back, which came from the left thoracic region and caused a rupture of the heart and lungs.

Picking up the items found in Vogli's pockets, he said the following: his passport, a cotton swab wrapped in silver with saint's oil, three rosaries, an image of the Virgin, spheres, his wallet, a gold chain and a wooden cross.

The victim, Mr. Sophocles also said, died of internal bleeding.

For Hadjiefthymiou Utensils, she stated that she received a bullet which entered her body through the eye and came out of the ear.
