Love rivalry appears to be the cause of a bloody episode that took place on Wednesday afternoon in Pylaia, Thessaloniki.
As has been known so far, a woman from western Thessaloniki found herself at the home of a 27-year-old woman, accusing her of having an affair or wishing to have an affair with her husband.
In fact, the perpetrator - a mother of two children - did not stop at words, but attacked the 27-year-old with a kitchen knife, seriously injuring her in the abdomen and hands.
Strong forces of the Greek Police were immediately at the scene, who arrested the woman, as well as an EKAV ambulance that transported the injured woman to the Papageorgiou hospital.
