Car crashes into pedestrians in Berlin: Seven injured

According to DW, so far there are seven injured, one of whom is seriously injured and is fighting to stay alive.

The incident took place at the Hardenbergplatz at the Bahnhof Zoo.

The driver of the car, according to police reports, fell on people around 7:20 on Sunday morning.

Police have cordoned off the area while the driver was arrested. Eyewitnesses say a man was trapped under the wheels of the car and rescuers were trying to save him.

The motives of the incident are being investigated.
