Airport officials in Lithuania approached Christmas decorations in a completely unusual way, decorating a Christmas tree with confiscated items.
Lithuanian Airports announced that the tree at Vilnius airport was adorned with prohibited items seized by security personnel during the inspection process.
Photographs show the idiosyncratic masterpiece, which also has an educational purpose, which is not decorated with Christmas balls, but with scissors, knives, paper cutters, lighters and other items that are considered dangerous and can not be carried in the luggage on air flights.
"So, if you do not want your personal, but forbidden, items to land on next year's Christmas tree - better check the baggage instructions before packing for your next flight," says Lithuanian Airports.
