A man who, according to the Dutch police, traveled hidden in a part of the wheel of the plane that had taken off from South Africa, landed alive at the Schiphol airport in Amsterdam.
The Johannesburg-Amsterdam flight takes about eleven hours, and the cargo aircraft is believed to have made a stop in Nairobi, Kenya.
The survival of the smuggler in such conditions is particularly rare due to the cold, the lack of oxygen and the high altitude.
