After telephone conversations with the US President and Russian President, Tayyip Erdogan claims that the climate seems to have softened.

Following Friday prayers, the Turkish president said he had discussed developments in Syria with Trump and Putin and sent a video to his Russian counterpart about the attacks in the Duma.

"We discussed what can be done to ensure peace in Syria. We wished to end the tragedy in the region by securing peace. Developments in the Duma and Eastern Gouta have been painful and devastating. I had videotaped images of them. I gave them to Putin's special envoys. "

The Turkish President said that he also discussed these issues with Vladimir Putin. "Chemical weapons are definitely destructive, but other conventional weapons kill women and children indiscriminately. We have asked and are asking Russia and the allied forces to be sensitive to them. At the moment the climate seems to have softened a bit. "We want the climate to soften, to ensure peace," he said.
