Two half-brothers not only had an affair and had six children but killed two of them. Sarah Baras, 35, and Brandon Matsin, 39, of Sheffield, were sentenced by a court to at least 35 years in prison.
The two were described by the court as "devilish" while plotting the brutal murder of their other four children. And all this while they had killed two of their sons, 13-year-old Tristan and 14-year-old Blake.
More specifically, the 35-year-old tried to poison the children but did not succeed. For this reason she strangled her sons. In fact, the two of them, in order to make sure that the children would die, "wore" plastic bags on their heads.
The mother admitted in court that she had made five more attempts but had not succeeded. In fact, as it became known at the trial, the couple killed the pets for fun.
The ruthless 35-year-old had threatened her children in the past, telling them: "I gave you life, I can take it from you". In fact, last May, in one of the attempted murders of her children, she forced the minors to take pills!
The children were found dead five months ago and the horrific case shocked Britain.
