Saudi Arabia's diplomacy has decided to recall its ambassador to Berlin in protest of statements by German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who hinted that ousted Lebanese Prime Minister Riyadh, the official Saudi news agency SPA reported, citing a spokesman for the kingdom's foreign ministry.
"Saudi Arabia has decided to recall its ambassador to Germany for consultations and will deliver a letter to the German ambassador to the kingdom protesting these unfortunate and unjustified statements," the SPA quoted a spokesman as saying.
