Authorities in Indonesia have launched an operation to rescue ten sperm whales found just 15 meters from land.
For an unknown reason, the 10 whales came out in the shallows, as a result of which they got stuck and were unable to return to the sea. Some of them even seem to have been injured.
Police have evacuated people from the shores. It is estimated that the bad weather disoriented the whales.
