A 15-year-old man has been arrested in Spain on suspicion of shooting and killing his parents and 10-year-old brother after a dispute over his poor grades at school became known to police today.
The tragedy, which unfolded Tuesday night in a rural area near Elche, 20 kilometers southeast of Alicante, was revealed last night by a woman who went to the family home as she had no news.
He shot them with a shotgun
"The mother's sister went home because she had no family news and then her nephew told her he had killed his father, mother and brother," a police spokesman told AFP.
Police located three bodies inside the house. He arrested a "15-year-old minor" who was left alone in the house with the bodies for three days.
The 15-year-old said he "fought with his mother over his grades at school", then took his father's shotgun to kill her, then shot his 10-year-old brother and last but not least his father.
