Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the commitment of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to the protection and security of Israel.
Specifically, a statement from the office of the Prime Minister of Israel states that Mr. Netanyahu is quite satisfied with the outcome of the meeting of the two leaders. In addition, the announcement states:
"Benjamin Netanyahu welcomes the strong commitment of the United States and President Trump to safeguarding Israel's security. Netanyahu also praised the coordination with Russia on security issues and President Putin's clear position on the need to implement the 1974 unblocking agreements between Israel and Syria.
