US President Donald Trump again issued a highly toxic warning on Monday against those serving in the White House and leaking to the press.

"The so-called leaks from the White House are a huge exaggeration on the part of the fake news media, in order to make us look as bad as possible. "Having said that, those who make the leaks are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!" Trump said in a threatening tone via Twitter.

The presidential rage is likely linked to the war that sparked a phrase uttered by Kelly Sandler, a member of the White House communications team, for Senator John McCain, who is being treated for brain cancer.

During a closed-door meeting, Sandler was quoted as saying that McCain's opposition to the CIA leadership nomination was insignificant, as he "would die anyway."

In the first few months after taking office, Trump had already cracked down on those who made "illegal leaks" to the press and stressed that this had to be "stopped."
