"Large-scale military operations against terrorists in Syria are coming to an end, and thanks to the efforts of Russia, Iran and Turkey, we have been able to prevent the collapse of Syria," Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the start of the tripartite meeting. Turkey, Iran held in Sochi.
The Russian president noted that the terrorists in Syria have really suffered a decisive blow and "a real opportunity has arisen to end the long civil war."
