Now, women in Saudi Arabia have the right, with the necessary, to obtain a driver's license as from June 24, this restriction will be lifted.
So far 10 women have secured the diploma, while another 2 thousand are expected to follow the relevant procedures to obtain a driver's license.
This may be an important step for the women of the country but there are 9 other issues that is an elusive dream.
1. They can not dress as they want
2. They can not get married and in order to do so they must obtain the permission of the man who protects them. If they want to marry a foreigner, then permission is required from the Minister of Interior.
3. They can not participate in sports
4. They can not have a bank account and to do so, they need special permission from the man who protects them.
5. They can not have custody of children when they divorce
6. They can not apply for a passport without the permission of the man who protects them.
7. They can not have a fair trial
8. They can not associate with men who are not related
9. They can not start their own business if two men do not testify about their character
