One would expect that in the small village of Acquetico, with 120 inhabitants, in the north of Italy, everything would go very smoothly.

But Mayor Alessandro Alessandri received many complaints about the speed at which vehicles were moving through the village. So he decided to put cameras to see exactly what was happening and the result left him speechless!

Within two weeks, a total of 58.568 calls were cut for speeding. In fact, the most arrogant offender reached 125 km per hour, which is twice the speed at which he had to move.

"It is crazy to think that every day the residents move in the village and cross the street," the mayor said, according to the Ansa news agency. In fact, his concern becomes even greater considering that the majority of the villagers are elderly.
