German police say several people were injured in a train-truck collision near Düsseldorf.
The DPA news agency reported that police said the accident happened near the train station in the town of Meerbusch.
Authorities said there were multiple injuries but no exact number has been identified so far.
Emergency crews were on the scene and helped disembark the passengers.
A photo tweeted by the Meerbusch Fire Department showed that the passenger train was partially derailed.
The Fire Department reports that there are still people trapped on the train and efforts are being made to secure their release.
The causes of the accident have not been clarified yet.
