An alarm was sounded in Houston, Texas, following a shooting incident at a school.
According to NBC, a suspect is being held by the police, while the perpetrator is a former student of the school.
Authorities are urging residents to avoid the area where the school is located, at 4400 Anderson Street, as other suspects are being searched.
Police received a call for shootings at 11:45 a.m. local time at YES Prep Southwest Secondary School.
According to the first information, a school employee was injured, while there is no report of injury to students or teachers. The school has been evacuated.
