Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will meet in late April, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov said today. However, he did not mention the exact date of the meeting of the two leaders, noting that the preparation of the summit is in its final phase.
"Indeed, the meeting is being prepared, its preparation has entered the final stage and the meeting will take place by the end of Arpilio," Peshkov said.
Last week, the Kremlin announced that Kim Jong Un would visit Russia in April, thus announcing the first Russia-North Korea summit since Kim Jong Un took office in 2011.
