"Companion of Honor", the creator of Harry Potter

The creator of Harry Potter, J. Rowling can add another magical moment to her list of accomplishments. Prince William awarded her an honorary title of Comrade of Honor.

The ceremony took place at Buckingham Palace.

The author stated that it is a deep honor for her and she is very proud to receive the title, which is still held by 65 people.

She was honored for her services to literature and philanthropy.

Rowling said that "being part of this group of distinguished and talented Partners of Honor, especially as a woman writer, is a real privilege."

The same honorary "club" includes Steven Hawking, artist David Hockney, former Beatles member Paul McCartney and Downton Abby star Maggie Smith.
