US President Donald Trump warned Iranian President Hassan Rohani on Sunday never to threaten the United States again, following a statement by the Iranian leader condemning Washington's hostile policies toward Tehran.
"Never threaten the United States again because otherwise you will suffer consequences that, like the few in history, have all suffered," Trump said on his Twitter account, in all capital letters.
Rohani stressed on Sunday that if the United States got involved in a war with Iran, she would be "the mother of all wars", but did not rule out the possibility of peace between the two countries.
"We are no longer a country that will tolerate your insane statements about violence and death," Trump continued. "Be careful!", The Republican added in his post.
