A video in which six police officers shot dead a 10-year-old rapper more than 20 times while he was sleeping in his car in a city in California has caused disgust and a storm of reactions.
A video released shows the six police officers standing outside Willie McCoy's car and suddenly opening fire, shouting, "Show us your hands, raise your hands."
Police, according to USA Today, claim that the six shot because "they felt their physical integrity was threatened" after McCoy "appeared to make a sudden move to take the gun he had on him" while… was sleeping!
"There has been no attempt to find a peaceful solution. The job of the police is to arrest people who are illegal. Not to take the law into their own hands. "You are not a judge, juror or executor," said the victim's older brother.
