A one-year-old baby who was stabbed by a man in the west of the British capital is being treated in critical condition in London.
Police have launched a manhunt to arrest the perpetrator, who also stabbed a 30-year-old woman. The woman is also hospitalized but her life is not in danger.
The Metropolitan Police have reported that the perpetrator lived in the Feltham district and that he knew his two victims.
The woman and baby were taken to hospital by helicopter after being found injured Monday morning at a home in Hangworth, Hounslo.
A local told Sky News he heard screams and cries, saying the incident took place at the home of a family who had recently moved to the area.
About 20 police vehicles rushed to the scene, with neighbors initially receiving orders to stay in their homes as the perpetrator was apparently wanted.
