The new quantity of medical equipment for the fight against the coronavirus arrived in Cyprus at dawn.
Specifically, it is about 9 tons of equipment that arrived in Cyprus from China with a stopover in Athens with an Aegean flight with a specially designed aircraft, in collaboration with Hellenic Petroleum.

Medical equipment includes, inter alia, surgical masks, masks and high-protection suits, special goggles and swabs for sampling.
They are, among other things, a donation from the House of Representatives, the Embassy of China and a purchase from the Ministry of Health.

- 5.000 pieces of face shields
- 4.000 pieces of full body protective suits
It is noted that “Vartkes Mahtesian secured the provision of free assistance from the CDA Group and business associates of the Group. With the valuable help of Dimitris Syllouris, Speaker of the House of Representatives, he coordinated all the necessary efforts for the protective equipment to reach Cyprus along with all other medical supplies offered by the Chinese government. The medical supplies arrived today at Larnaca airport ", it is added.
