Clear weather today - Clouds in the mountains, rains are not excluded

Seasonal low pressure and temporarily strong westerly winds affect the area, according to the Meteorological Service.

Today, the weather will initially be mostly clear but in the west, north and mountains it will be partly cloudy and it is not excluded locally that there will be isolated rain. Later, however, increased clouds that will generally be observed are likely to give isolated rain or even thunderstorms, in the north and in the east, after noon. The winds will be mainly southwesterly to westerly, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort and temporarily in the afternoon, south, southwest and east to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort. The sea will soon become generally turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 35 degrees inland, around 33 on the south and east coasts, around 31 on the north coast, around 29 on the west coast and around 27 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear but in the west, north and mountains there will be increased clouds, which locally in the west and north may give isolated light rain. The winds will blow mainly southwest to west, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent, on the south and east coasts and up to turbulent, on the rest of the coast. The temperature will drop to around 21 degrees inland, around 22 on the south and east coasts, around 23 on the west and north coasts and around 15 degrees in the higher mountains.

The Monday, temporarily increased clouds may give isolated rain mainly in the west, north and mountains, while from noon onwards clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated rain and possible thunderstorm, in the north and east. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, while from noon onwards clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated rain or thunderstorm, in the mountains and possibly in areas inland and in the east.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Monday and Tuesday, remaining generally close or slightly below in some areas of the average climatic values. On Wednesday, the temperature is expected to rise a little above the average climatic values.
