The Police made two complaints of premises and 28 complaints of citizens for violation of the measures against the coronavirus from a total of 1.626 controls.
In Nicosia, 219 inspections were carried out with 6 complaints of citizens and in Limassol 315 inspections with 2 complaints of citizens.
In Larnaca, 405 inspections were carried out with 14 complaints from citizens, while in Paphos, 179 inspections were carried out with a complaint of a property and a complaint of a citizen.
In Famagusta, 424 inspections were carried out with one complaint of a property and five citizens and in Morfos 84 inspections with no complaint.
There were also 23 inspections by the Coast Guard without any complaints.
Meanwhile, fines of 300 euros were imposed on three citizens in Paphos for non-compliance with measures of the Law on Infection.
Specifically, the strict controls of compliance with the measures in Paphos District by the members of the force continue in Paphos, since the movement of persons from 23:00 to 05:00 in the morning and the operation of the restaurants after 22:30 is prohibited.
According to the Police yesterday in Paphos, two persons were reported, a citizen for violating the decree banning the movement of persons after 23:00 at night, and a second person who was found not wearing a mask at a betting agency.
Besides, the owner of a clothing store was reported yesterday by the Paphos Police, after he had violated many provisions of the decree of the Law on Disinfection.
Specifically, the shop that was reported did not meet the Infection measures, such as distances, thermometers, antiseptics and so on.
All three persons were fined 300 euros each.
It is noted that the Police continues the intensive controls for the observance of the measures taken to deal with the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.
