The proposal for the abolition of the excise tax on all vehicles and the regulations on road taxes is put up for open consultation.
According to a relevant announcement, relayed by the GTP, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works (Department of Road Transport), in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance (Department of Customs) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment (Department of Environment), made public consultation proposal for the abolition of the Consumption Tax of all vehicles and a draft bill concerning regulations on the registration fees of vehicles of category M1 and N1 registered for the first time in the Republic.
An explanatory announcement and the draft bill on the regulations on traffic fees for vehicles of category M1 and N1 registered for the first time in the Republic are posted on the Internet, for the purpose of access and submission of opinions by anyone interested.
The deadline for submitting opinions is September 21, 2018, the announcement concludes.
