The Rapid Information Exchange Network (RAPEX), in its latest notification, informs the Member States that the following cosmetic product has been identified and withdrawn in Europe:
The product has been withdrawn due to the fact that it contains lead at a concentration of 150 mg / kg
The product does not comply with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
For the above product there is no clear information regarding its exporting countries. For this reason, the Pharmaceutical Services conduct an investigation to locate the above product on the market and urge the public in case of possession of the product in question to stop using it or in case it detects this product, to contact with the Pharmaceutical Services, at 22-608606 and 22-608663.
