The system for collecting the contributions of beneficiaries, employers and the state to the Health Insurance Fund is put into operation today, in view of the GESS.

The Employees will pay 1,7% of their income, employers 1,85% of the income of each employee, the State 1,65% of the earnings of the employee, retiree and self-employed.

For self-employed the percentage of the contribution for the first phase of implementation of the GESS was set at 2,55%.

For retirees and income earners at 1,7%.

At the same time, the process for the abolition of the Health Funds, provided for in the collective agreements and in the private health plans, provided to the employees, through insurance companies, begins.

Yesterday, the employers' organizations KEVE and OEB agreed with the unions SEK, PEO and DEOK for the management of the medical insurance arrangements, which are provided in collective agreements, due to the GESS so that there are no double payments, but also to be covered by the insured.

From 1 June 2020, due to the full implementation of the General Health Plan, there will be no health funds that currently cover tens of thousands of employees,

In the meantime, the discussion of the Regulations for the personal doctors was completed in the Parliament yesterday and next Thursday the discussion of the Regulations for the special doctors will begin.
