The decision for a "green light" in the pre-election rallies from the very next day of the lifting of the restrictive measures brought a variety of comments from citizens on social media.

As announced today by the Minister of Health, among other things, the pre-election rallies in view of the parliamentary elections will be allowed with specific measures.

Specifically, pre-election rallies are allowed provided that the fullness of the venue where the event will take place is observed and the attendees will be seated. Cocktails are prohibited. For example:

  • In open theater / amphitheater up to 50% fullness,
  • In a closed theater / amphitheater up to 30% fullness,
  • In clubs / restaurants outside sitting, and
  • In houses maximum number 10 people including permanent residents.

Prerequisite is the presentation of proof ("Coronapass"), ie one of the following:

  • Vaccination certificate at least in one dose and after 3 weeks, or
  • Proof that a person is ill from the disease COVID-19 the last 6 months. It is understood that a coronavirus case is a person who has been detected positive for the virus in a molecular test or rapid antigen test and has been reported by the clinical laboratory or rapid test sampling unit or pharmacy, has been tracked and released based on Ministry of Health procedures , the
  • If one of the above does not apply, and as a temporary solution until vaccination coverage is further advanced, citizens aged 12 and over are given the option to submit negative test certificate, PCR or rapid test, with power 72 hours. For example, if the test took place on Sunday at 10 am it would be valid until Tuesday at midnight.
