Despite the disagreements, all Turkish parties agree on the Cyprus issue, said the President of the Turkish National Assembly, Mustafa Sentop.
During his meeting with the "Prime Minister" Faiz Suzuoglu, the President of the Turkish National Assembly said that "Although there are occasional differences of opinion between the political parties in Parliament on issues related to international relations, all parties agree on the issue of 'tdbk'."
"We always support 'tdbk'. "Undoubtedly, this is not just an emotional approach, but the 'tdbk' case is also our case, our national case.", he said.
Mustafa Sedop said that as Turkey, they fully support the position of Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar that "since there are two peoples, there must be two states". He also stated that he honors the memory of Rauf Denktash and that "He was a great mujahideen for the cause of Cyprus and the founder 'president' was a person who shouldered and led this cause for many years. "May his soul rest in peace, we will always remember him."
Suzuoglu said that "Our common destiny and religion is Anatolia, where we share the same language and race, and our destiny is Anatolia", adding that "Anatolia gave all kinds of help to its Turkish expatriates without any expectations."
Faiz Suzuoglu said Turkish leader Ersin Tatar's unconditional support for the position of the "two sovereign states" and that "the resolute stance of Turkey and the 'tdbk' in the eastern Mediterranean also led the 'tdbk' one step ahead of the drilling ”.
