The information that a doctor wants, to have entered a supermarket and met a patient who is positive for COVID24, has been circulating on the internet and social media for the last 19 hours.
In particular, this information states that the said doctor saw his patient, informed the person in charge of the supermarket and he in turn shouted through the loudspeakers that the specific customer should come out of the back door. According to this information, 9 other customers came out with him.
SigmaLive contacted Andreas Hatziadamou, Executive Secretary of the Pancyprian Supermarkets Association, early in the morning of December 30, who said that he also heard this information, but was not able to confirm where the incident took place. It should be noted that this information is also available for a large branch in Cyprus.
