The epidemiological picture is improved and it is possible that there will be some relaxation in the restrictions, said Petros Karagiannis, member of the Scientific Advisory Committee.

Speaking to Trito, Mr. Karagiannis said that the relaxations that have been discussed include the removal of the protective mask outdoors and the reduction of the number of antigen detection tests.

He also said that specifically for attending workplaces, thoughts are being made to perform a test by the unvaccinated every 7 days, instead of every 72 hours.

Commenting on OEB's request for the abolition of all restrictive measures, Mr. Karagiannis said that such a possibility would probably be considered in early May.
