A yellow warning for the low barometric pressure that will affect the area today, was issued by the Meteorological Department.

According to the warning, a combination of rain and possible strong thunderstorms is expected to temporarily affect the area.

The total rainfall locally can exceed 55 mm per 24 hours.

At the same time, strong to strong southwest winds of 6-7 Beaufort with gusts that will reach up to 8 Beaufort locally, are expected to mainly affect the windward coast.

The warning will take effect from 13:00 noon until 21:00 in the evening.

Today, the weather will initially be partly cloudy, to gradually become mostly cloudy, with rain in most areas and isolated thunderstorms. In the higher mountains it will snow from time to time.
