The target of 70% adult vaccination will be achieved in the summer and specifically in July, confirmed today a representative of the Commission, invited to present data on receipts and exports of vaccines from the EU during the daily briefing of the authors.
In particular, according to Commission spokesman Stephane de Kirsmacker, the EU expects 250m installments of Pfizer Biontech, 35m from Moderna, 70m from AZ and 55m from J&J.
At the same time, spokeswoman Miriam Garcia Ferre explained that the EU had approved exports of 148 million doses of vaccine to 44 countries, of which 52,3 million in Japan, 17,3 million in the UK and 14,2 million in Canada.
