CYPRUS: 6 new confirmed cases of coronavirus - At 810 in total

According to data from the Ministry of Health's Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, the new confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus are 6 out of a total of 2,467 laboratory diagnoses.

According to the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, the new incidents COVID-19 are distributed as follows:

  • From the program of the Ministry of Health for the examination of 20,000 professionals, 1,407 laboratory diagnoses have been completed today by the contracting laboratories, with 1 positive result,
  • Of all the diagnoses from the process of tracking already confirmed cases, 3 cases were positive,
  • Out of a total of 299 diagnoses from the Microbiological Laboratories of the General Hospitals, no cases were identified,
  • Of the 127 samples taken from people who returned from abroad a few days ago, one was found.
  • Out of a total of 298 laboratory tests from a private initiative, a positive case was identified
  • Out of a total of 69 laboratory tests of employees at OKYPY, no positive cases emerged.

From the program of 20,000 laboratory diagnoses, a total of 11 laboratory tests were completed on Saturday, April 4, and until today at 14,960 pm.

Based on current data, the total number of positive cases amounted to 810 (including the ten found at the British Base).
