According to the latest decisions of the Ministry of Health, it is forbidden to hold school festive events and from Monday, December 6 to January 10, 2022, the suspension of all Christmas or other events inside and outside the malls.

Activities that do not require approval

It is clarified that the gatherings in restaurants such as restaurants, taverns, cafes, pubs, snack bars and bars, cafes, restaurants in shopping malls, restaurants in hotels and tourist accommodation, canteens and / or sports clubs, cultural groups, Associations do not need approval from the Ministry of Health, provided that the provisions of regulations 9, 31, 32 of the current Decree and the relevant protocols are observed.

Similarly, approval by the Ministry of Health is not required for events held in licensed theaters, amphitheaters, screening rooms, and other venues that are allowed to operate under current Decontamination Ordinances and for which a Minister has been prepared or approved by the Ministry. with guidelines for operation with measures against its spread COVID-19.

It is understood that this is under the condition that in these areas will not be carried out any activities that are not allowed by the guidelines and that are not related to the normal daily operation of the site and that involve an increased risk of its spread. COVID-19 (eg spectators take the stage during a performance in a theater, spectators are invited to sing or dance with the artists on stage, spectators leave their place to be closer to the stage of the performance, etc. .ο.κ.).

The exceptions

The Ministry emphasizes, however, that any festive activities that are not related to the normal daily operation of the restaurant / cafeteria / hotel and carry an increased risk of spreading COVID-19, such as karaoke, dance, tombola, entertainment for children with Santa Claus, are considered events, for which the Ministry of Health does not give any approval, in order to curb the upward trend of positive cases COVID-19 and the defense of public health.

Events that will be used only outdoors

Those who are at the event at any time, will not exceed 350 people, subject to distance measures.

This number includes all guests. Employees, traders, artists and staff are not included, meaning that they do not move in the same areas as visitors and are confined to specific areas without public access, such as behind a counter selling goods, etc.

The maximum number of visitors can be increased to 500 in compliance with the distancing measures set out in the health protocols, in the event that all persons show either a certificate of a complete vaccination scheme for the disease COVID-19, or certificate of recovery from illness COVID-19 with a validity of six months from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis, in compliance with the provisions of sub-paragraph (b) (ii) of Regulation 9 on Infectious Diseases (Determination of Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19) Decree (No. 43) of 2021, as it is amended from time to time.

The general responsibility for compliance with the provisions of the Decree and the Guidelines, lies with the organizer. What about the houses

According to the latest decree of the Ministry of Health, the total presence of up to 20 persons in a home is allowed, including minor children and persons permanently residing in it: It is understood that, except for the limitation of 20 persons, events are allowed under the Regulations 9 and subject to Regulation 82.
