The Paphos Crime Investigation Department is investigating a case of burglary and theft from a jewelry store in the market area at 1 Petraki Miltiadis Street.
According to the Spokesperson and Head of the Paphos TAE, Michalis Nikolaou, the owner of a jewelry store complained to the Police that around 04:45 the jewelry store alarm sounded.
Preliminary examinations show that the perpetrators, after breaking into the jewelry store, seized a number of jewelry, the value of which has not yet been calculated, said Mr. Nikolaou.
Members of TAE Paphos went to the stage and excluded her, while her scientific examination is expected. The Police collects various items in order to locate the perpetrators and also conducts examinations in the area to ensure testimony regarding the perpetrators. The jewelry store had an anti-theft system that emits smoke.
The examinations, which are at a preliminary stage, are continued by the Paphos TAE.
